AUSANGATE 6 Days / 5 Nights
This snow-capped mountain is located south east of the city of Cusco. The Incas considered it to be an Apu, or god, and therefore worshipped it. It is the site of one of the Andean world’s most important pilgrimage, "el Señor de Qoyllor Rity.” Nowadays, Ausangate is still worshipped by the Andean population as the Apu, or spirit, who protects the Andes.

We spend the night there in a hostal and prepare to set off for our journey.
